Event Description:
The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce is hosting “A Night of Stars” themed after the Academy Awards on Saturday, Feb. 21. The annual dinner dance will start at 6 p.m. at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare, 8535 W. Higgins Rd.
Highlights of the evening will be the presentation of a Lifetime Achievement Award plus seven Community Star Awards to recognize the outstanding achievements in community service by the brightest and best in Park Ridge.
“We at the Chamber are honored to recognize such outstanding members of our community in this way and invite all area residents to join us in this fun-filled celebration,” says Jo Ann Flynn, Chamber President.
A full three-course dinner will be served followed by dancing to the sounds of Chicago’s own Uptown Shakedown Band which performs Motown soul, rock, pop and other favorites.
A silent auction and other raffles will add to the evening’s fun and excitement along with special touches honoring the favorite traditions of the Academy Awards which follows the next day.
